A solar thermal system captures the sun’s radiant energy
with the evacuated tube collectors, and transforms it into
heat (thermal) energy. This energy is transferred by a
closed loop of water/glycol mix to a storage tank
where it conducts heat. In these systems, solar is
the primary heat source for domestic hot water.
It provides a household annually with over 70%
of their hot water needs. When sufficient solar radiation is
not available, a connected back-up system makes sure
you’re never without hot water.
